Post: Quo Vadis Peace Process?

Did Malacañang really back track on the peace process? What is Gabby Claudio doing back in Malacañang and yet uttering statements being quoted out of context by the media?

Isn’t Gabby also the reason why Ampatuan nearly lost in the previous ARMM elections? Isn’t he the reason why Zacarias Candao was trampled by Lininding Pangandaman because of the bombing operations he conducted in Mindanao during the first ARMM elections that was funded by then Speaker Jose Perez a/k/a Jose De Venecia, Jr. his beloved boss along with the man with the cigar? The sudden emergence of supposed information about forthcoming bombings in Mindanao is astounding! Now that Gabby is back, an expert on these things it doesn’t look surprising. If he is into these idiotic moves, who is he actually serving?

Recently, the Supreme Court ganged up on the government and one particular Justice, Antonio Carpio of the Ayala Alabang Mafia and Adviser-to-Presidents’ fame, called the draft Peace Agreement documents as unconstitutional. Carpio echoes the bitching opinions of idiots that know nothing or prefer to be blind to the realities in Mindanao: the real owners of the land are practically aliens in their domains. The real owners of the land are literally second-rated or third-rated or lower classes of citizens.

Is the peace process dead? Obviously, some sectors do not entirely agree with the belief being peddled by the enemies of peace that the negotiations is dead in the water.

To create milestones toward consensus, the leaders of the Roman Catholic Church met and formed joint resolutions with leaders of MILF. It was obviously not a mere grand standing act similar to that of mayors, congressmen, governors, vice governors, and all the other shitheads that the entire ecological system is suddenly teeming with. It was a true-to-form reaching out to blaze trails to peace, to refuse to accept the certitude of the defeat of the peace process. Puno and his gang’s blocking notwithstanding, the senators and other malicious trolls’ railroading of an all-out war, regardless.

Nevertheless, the drama unfolds sadly. Troopers of the government returning home in body bags. MILF elements coming home in synthetic sacks. Countless scores of civilians becoming refugees in a make believe war. Countless innocents to be suffered by forthcoming bombings. Recently, in a meeting of a political opposition support group, it was definitively stated by a confrere in that meeting that bombings are soon going to take place… what bombings? Who ordered them? Who financed them? Who will benefit? And why take away peace when it is already within reach?

Why utter the statement that the United States is now engaged in intervention in the affairs of the country? Helloo! That there are a remarkable lot of foreigners around – some posing as tourists – does suggest that the Americans are actively taking part in the peace process. Sen. Joker Arroyo may have even missed a piece of input that should jolt him to his senses: the United States Department of the Navy recently recalled a battleship that was in Mindanao, ostensibly for civilian relations missions. However, an entire Strike Squadron, led by its flagship, the Aircraft Carrier and the newest of the nuclear powered big ships of the US Navy, the USS Ronald Reagan is now in Asia. Furthermore, instead of being in Japan, as far as its mission book says, conducting civilian relations services, USS Reagan is just a stone’s throw away from Mindanao. It has an armada of five huge ships and one flying squadron or possibly an entire Air Wing. The USS Reagan is set to leave after the ARMM elections. This event has happened in the past as if by clockwork. Whenever there is a Mindanao election, If parking near the coasts of Mindanao and not invading the place is intervention, I wonder what happened to the language skills of Sen. Arroyo?

Is his best friend Jejomar Binay, the monkey-looking mayor of Makati and his colleagues in the opposition afraid that the US might get wind of the plans of the anti-Gloria groups to wage new destabilization operations once again? Hmmm…

Speaking of trivia and trivializing…

Blogger Corrimhao apparently does not like Chief Justice Reynato S. Puno. However I learned a new expression that is absolutely unblasphemous, courtesy of dearest corrimhao: susmaryopaze!
